SENIOR BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST (POWER BI)

We're looking for a skilled, critically minded Power BI specialist who can understand our clients' business needs, turn them into analytical solutions, and judge honestly how well those solutions work in practice. You've been doing this long enough to have seen, and proven, plenty of approaches that simply don't work.

What you'll do:

• Map and analyse client needs through workshops and conversations with business stakeholders
• Design and build Power BI reports, dashboards, and analyses tailored to each client
• Build well-structured semantic models (star schema, clean relationships, maintainable DAX measures)
• Optimise report and model performance, and set up security and governance (row-level security, workspaces, deployment)
• Advise clients on reporting best practices, data visualisation, and how to get real value from Power BI
• Work closely with our data engineers so the underlying data fits reporting needs
• Share your experience with the team through reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing

You'll fit well if you have:

• Real-world, trial-and-error experience developing and implementing Power BI solutions as a developer or analyst
• Strong DAX and Power Query skills, and a solid understanding of data modelling for Power BI
• The ability to solve problems with methods proven in practice, not just in theory
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with various databases (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and turning vague requirements into clear solutions
• Independence, project management skills, and ownership of your work
• Reliability: when you commit to something, you deliver
• Strong command of both Estonian and English

Nice to have:

• Experience with data warehouse development or dimensional modelling
• Microsoft Azure or Microsoft Fabric experience
• Experience with other BI tools, such as Tableau
• Experience with Power BI administration, capacity management, or deployment pipelines
